The Audition - You've Made Us Conscious
The Audition - You've Made Us Conscious
This one hits home for me. The Audition happened to be the opening act at my first real show, on tour way back then with The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. Their stage presence was electric. Though they are a little same-song-and-dance-y as most other pop-punkers, they did it so damn well. Unfortunately, your chances of seeing this band live again are slim no none. They haven't made any moves in the past three years, and I wouldn't feel comfortable placing a bet on it, at this point. The song featured in this video is from their 2005 release, "Controversy Loves Company", which is arguably their best work. It packs a pop-punk punch from track 1 to track 10. Another song I recommend giving a listen to off this album, is "Approach the Bench". Till next time!
